This is "As I Was Sleeping," performed by Scott Foster Harris, one of the earliest songs created during the beginnings of The ZUGU Project. The ZUGU Project was founded with a simple mission: Love God. Love each other. Through music, art, and creativity, we hope to raise awareness for mental health, encourage compassion, and remind people that no one has to walk through life's struggles alone. When Scott and I created this song, I brought him a piece of music I had written and asked him to simply let the song lead the way. Scott stepped into a room, turned on the microphone, and sang whatever the music inspired in that moment. No overthinking. No script. Just raw creativity and honesty. What emerged became "As I Was Sleeping," one of the foundation stones of the ZUGU Project and an early example of the trust and creative freedom that still guides us today.
